Dr.Mark Nelson has been featured in a number of renowned documentaries in recent years. This includes Our Blue World and Spaceship Earth. He is most known for the Biosphere 2 experiment in which he was a member of the eight person “biospherian” crew during 1991-1993.

He also is the head of Wastewater Garden International, an organization that works with closed loop ecological systems in an effort to reuse waste water in countries with little sanitation infrastructure, semi-desert/desert and tropical climates, ocean and/or waterways coastlines and lands where water conservation and reutilization is essential.

He often speaks on topics of the Biosphere 2 creation, biospherics, whole systems design, and water usage.
