Las Casas de la Selva, Puerto Rico, offers direct experience in tropical forest ecology and sustainable land use. Participants work on steep mountain terrain to plant and tend hardwood trees, care for endangered native species, and maintain forest systems. Living in a remote rainforest setting develops resilience, ecological knowledge, and teamwork. Everyone takes part in both the forestry tasks and the daily life of the project.
