Naxto Torres is a musician, educator, entrepreneur, and social innovator whose work bridges music, human development, sustainability, and cultural transformation. A professional musician since 1994 and a member of the acclaimed Catalan band Gossos, he has combined a successful musical career with a lifelong exploration of the relationship between music, consciousness, and personal wellbeing.
Naxto has studied music therapy and altered states of consciousness and has worked extensively in theatre, performing with the company Sèmola Teatre. He was co-founder and president of the Institute for Holistic Research of Montserrat (Irehom), an organization dedicated to exploring emerging paradigms through interdisciplinary research, holistic thinking, and experiential learning.
Between 2005 and 2012, Naxto trained with the Institute of Ecotechnics, focusing on synergistic group processes, human development, and sustainable ecological communities. He later coordinated the Culture division of the National Values Plan for the Government of Catalonia and has served on the governing bodies of several cultural organizations, including the Catalan Music Academy, the Catalonia Territorial Council of SGAE, and the organizing team of TEDxManresa.
A committed advocate for environmental sustainability, Naxto is the director of Xarxa Global, a company specializing in solar energy systems, ecological building, and self-sufficiency solutions. He also serves as a trustee of both the Treeangle Foundation and the Vozes Foundation, supporting environmental stewardship, peace, and social integration.
